Nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Isaiah 60:3

Confession of Sin

Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart; I have not loved my neighbors as myself. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us all our sins through our Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen us in all goodness, and by the power of the Holy Spirit keep us in eternal life. Amen

Psalm Chapter 103

⁽¹⁾ Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! ⁽²⁾ Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: ⁽³⁾ Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, ⁽⁴⁾ Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

Deuteronomy Chapter 8

⁽¹⁾ Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers. ⁽²⁾ And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. ⁽³⁾ So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.

Colossians Chapter 1

⁽¹⁾ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, ⁽²⁾ To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are in Colosse: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. ⁽³⁾ We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, ⁽⁴⁾ since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints;

⁽⁵⁾ because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, ⁽⁶⁾ which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth; ⁽⁷⁾ as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf, ⁽⁸⁾ who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.

⁽⁹⁾ For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; ⁽¹⁰⁾ that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; ⁽¹¹⁾ strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; ⁽¹²⁾ giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

⁽¹³⁾ He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, ⁽¹⁴⁾ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

John Chapter 6

⁽³⁰⁾ Therefore they said to Him, 'What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? ⁽³¹⁾ Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat.' ' ⁽³²⁾ Then Jesus said to them, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. ⁽³³⁾ For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.'

⁽⁴⁸⁾ I am the bread of life. ⁽⁴⁹⁾ Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. ⁽⁵⁰⁾ This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. ⁽⁵¹⁾ I am the living bread which came down from heaven. The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
  He descended to the dead.
  On the third day he rose again.
  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,

Seasonal Collect:  The Epiphany
O God, by the leading of a star you manifested your only Son to the peoples of the earth: Lead us, who know you now by faith, to your presence, where we may see your glory face to face; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

The Collect of the Day:   Almighty God, whose most dear Son went not up to joy but first he suffered pain, and entered not into glory before he was crucified: Mercifully grant that we, walking in the way of the cross, may find it none other than the way of life and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Prayer for Mission: O God, you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth, and sent your blessed Son to preach peace to those who are far off and to those who are near: Grant that people everywhere may seek after you and find you; bring the nations into your fold; pour out your Spirit upon all flesh; and hasten the coming of your kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Thanksgiving
Almighty God, Father of all mercies, we your unworthy servants give you humble thanks for all your goodness and loving-kindness to us and to all whom you have made. We bless you for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life; but above all for your immeasurable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ; for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory. And, we pray, give us such an awareness of your mercies, that with truly thankful hearts we may show forth your praise, not only with our lips, but in our lives, by giving up ourselves to your service, and by walking before you in holiness and righteousness all our days; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory throughout all ages. Amen.

A Prayer of Saint Chrysostom
Almighty God, you have given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplication to you; and you have promised through your well-beloved Son that when two or three are gathered together in his Name you will be in the midst of them: Fulfill now, O Lord, our desires and petitions as may be best for us; granting us in this world knowledge of your truth, and in the age to come life everlasting. Amen.
