Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done, and by what I have left undone. Psalm 2

⁽¹⁾ Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?⁽²⁾ The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One.⁽³⁾ Let us break their chains,' they say, 'and throw off their fetters.'⁽⁴⁾ The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.

Psalm 24

Exodus Chapter 24

2 Corinthians Chapter 4

⁽¹⁾ Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.⁽²⁾ Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

Collect of the Day: Almighty God, whose most dear Son went not up to joy but first he suffered pain, and entered not into glory before he was crucified: Mercifully grant that we, walking in the way of the cross, may find it none other than the way of life and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Prayer for Mission: O God, you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth, and sent your blessed Son to preach peace to those who are far off and to those who are near: Grant that people everywhere may seek after you and find you; bring the nations into your fold; pour out your Spirit upon all flesh; and hasten the coming of your kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
